Light E.N.T. is an ear, nose, and throat private practice that treats all E.N.T. conditions and provides allergy treatment, hearing aid services, and facial plastics. Joshua Light, M.D. started Light E.N.T. 20 years ago and has practiced in Boynton Beach and southern Palm Beach County since then. 

Conditions affecting the ears, nose and throat are both common and impactful on a person's quality of life. This is why Dr. Light pursued a career in this specialty - to make people's lives better. Dr. Light was inspired by his father, a pioneer in eye surgery who was instrumental in developing modern-day cataract surgery. From a young age, Dr. Light was in awe of his father's ability to improve a patient's sight. He hopes that he has built a legacy similar to his father's, making people feel better by combining his medical knowledge, surgical skills, and ability to connect with patients so that they are confident in the outcomes of their treatment plan. Similarly, Dr. Highstein followed in her father's footsteps, a retired E.N.T. surgeon residing in Boynton Beach.

Dr. Light is a board-certified physician in Otolaryngology and has advanced fellowship training as in Otology, which is the subspecialty that focuses on surgery and medical treatment of the ear. He did his schooling in New York, and completed his medical and surgical training at New York University. He is on staff at Boca Raton Regional Hospital and Boca Raton Outpatient Surgery and Laser Center. Dr. Light is joined by two partners at Light E.N.T.: Dr. Mallory Highstein and Dr. Michael Schwartz. Dr Highstein, trained at the University of Maryland Medical Center, is an Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgeon. Dr Schwartz is a celebrated facial plastic surgeon and E.N.T. Specialist certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Two additional Doctorate level Nurse Practitioners complete the medical team, bringing a specialty focus in Allergy treatment. They all share a passion for improving people's quality of life and strive to embody Light E.N.T.'s philosophy- 'Patients First and Excellence Always'. 

Light E.N.T's practice includes experts in every discipline - ear, nose, throat, allergy, and audiology. The providers work as a team, and they communicate well, knowing that a multidisciplinary approach delivers the best patient care. Although the ear, nose, and throat are very different organ systems, if one is dysfunctional, it will often lead to consequences affecting another. While Dr. Light's focus is primarily on Ear, Sinus, and Allergy conditions, he has built his practice to include Dr. Schwartz and Dr. Highstein's subspecialties to complete the full spectrum of advanced expertise in all fields of Otolaryngology.
